Whether there is an interment of bodily remains or not, detailed information about that individual can be entered and accessible online forever. If you choose to create a 'Life Chronicle' information such as eulogies, newspaper articles/notices, awards and certificates can be added.
This information can be of tremendous value well into the future, particularly for those interested in history or genealogy research.
If there are no bodily remains such as when ashes have been scattered or someone is lost at sea, memorial sites can still be established and information entered online.
Life Chronicle
With the adoption of Chronicle for the management of our deceased records, family members now have the ability to add information about their past loved ones. Information may include obituaries, photos, certificates, or newspaper clippings. Once the particular individual has been located through a deceased record search, there is access to 'Life Chronicle'. Cost to Chronicle for use of this service is $65 of which a proportion is paid back to the Warrnambool Cemetery Trust.
